I am Paul Schöne

Hi I am Paul Schöne, a professional landscape, seascape and abstract artist (based now in Cape Town) for the past 15 years and love creating absolute beauty by using energetic bright colour e.g. reds, greens, yellows, purples etc.  I also paint with a lot of texture and depth.

I prefer working with artist acrylic paints on stretched canvas.  Most of my paintings are South African landscapes etc and enjoy painting subjects like the Overberg, Boland, Karoo, Bokaap, ity scenes, sea scenes and West Coast flowers.

I have done numerous exhibitions over the years at Artscape Theatre, renowned galleries around Cape Town and art festivals.

I mainly work on requests from my website (e.g. painting no 2, 17 etc) and repaint them according to your liking (or quite similar if you prefer that).

I work on a 60% deposit to cover my paint and canvas costs and balance on arrival, excluding courier costs, and my prices are affordable.

I have sold over 2500 paintings to art dealers, galleries and interior decorators. My work can also be found in homes, guest houses and corporate companies throughout South Africa, Holland, England, Dubai, China, France, Namibia, Germany and Australia. I still enjoy the challenge of every new painting.

My standard sizes for a single painting is 1200mm x 900mm and for a set of three, the size will be 3 x 600mm x 900mm.  I can also do custom sizes and I can paint from a landscape photo of your choice on client’s requests.
